The Pampanga provincial government, headed by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, has extended free medical care to 1,162 residents from the towns of Lubao, Guagua, and Porac through its ongoing Alagang Nanay Medical Mission. The beneficiaries received comprehensive health services including laboratory tests, medical checkups, and complimentary medications.
According to the Provincial Information Office (PIO), each patient was also provided with free medicines sufficient for three months, as well as food items such as food packs, congee, and bread to support their nutrition.
Governor Pineda also reminded the public to remain vigilant against common illnesses during the rainy season, such as dengue fever, leptospirosis, and respiratory infections, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures.
In addition, residents from the 2nd District took advantage of the "Kadiwa ni PBBM" program, which offered rice at a subsidized price of P20 per kilo, helping to ease household expenses.
The PIO highlighted that the provincial government aims to maintain the health and safety of all Kapampangans by continuing the Alagang Nanay Medical Mission in various communities, thereby reaching more residents in need of medical assistance and support.
