Muntinlupa Vice Mayor Tours Alabang Philippines Temple Ahead of Public Open House

Muntinlupa City Vice Mayor Stephanie “Phanie” Teves-Wong recently visited the Alabang Philippines Temple, a new landmark nestled within Filinvest City. She expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to explore this significant site, praising its architectural design and spiritual meaning.

"The Alabang Philippines Temple is a defining feature of Muntinlupa City, combining modern design with traditional elements to create a place of peace and reflection," Teves-Wong remarked. "It stands as both an elegant architectural achievement and a sanctuary for those seeking solace."

The Vice Mayor was among the first guests to tour the temple, gaining insight into the reasons why it holds deep significance for many.

"I sincerely thank the organizers for the invitation and the chance to be one of the inaugural visitors," she said.

The temple, affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will open its doors to the public starting November 21, 2025, through December 13, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., excluding Sundays. It welcomes members, non-members, and people of various faiths to experience its serene environment and impressive design.

"With the public open house commencing tomorrow, we encourage everyone—members, their families, friends, and those from other religious backgrounds—to visit and appreciate the temple's tranquility and architectural splendor," Teves-Wong added.
