Taguig City Mayor Highlights Youth Leadership at Children’s Congress
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano recently participated in the Children’s Congress, an event showcasing the next generation of leaders from the city’s public schools. Student representatives from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) elected the new Little City Officials, including the Little City Mayor, Francheska Castro.
"During the Children’s Congress attended by representatives from the Supreme Secondary Learner Government of Taguig’s public schools, the youth themselves elected our Little Officials," Mayor Cayetano explained.
She expressed her admiration for the enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by the young leaders. "Through every story, question, and idea shared, it is evident why Taguig’s future shines so brightly," she remarked.
The mayor emphasized that the youth are not only active participants but also visionary and compassionate individuals ready to stand for what is right. "Your experiences today will lay the groundwork for an even stronger future," she said.
Mayor Cayetano encouraged the young officials to continue exhibiting the courage and perseverance they have shown. "Lead with courage, serve with kindness, and always remember that your voice shapes the future," she concluded.
