Brooke Van Sickle Joins Elite Group with Third PVL MVP Award

Brooke Van Sickle elevated her status in Premier Volleyball League history on Sunday by becoming only the third player to win three Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards. The Filipino-American outside hitter was honored as the conference's best player after guiding Petro Gazz to its fourth championship victory with a 21-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-20 triumph over ZUS Coffee in the 2025 Reinforced Conference finals.

At 27 years old, Van Sickle achieved her third MVP award, having also earned the distinction in the previous two All-Filipino Conferences. This accomplishment places her alongside Alyssa Valdez and Tots Carlos, the only other athletes with three MVP titles in league history.

In addition to her MVP honors, Van Sickle was named one of the Best Outside Spikers, sharing the accolade with Savi Davison of PLDT. Meanwhile, Trisha Tubu of Farm Fresh was recognized as the Best Opposite Spiker.

Despite falling short of a championship, ZUS Coffee left a notable impression during the conference. Cloanne MondoƱedo secured the Best Setter award, while AC Miner was honored as the Rookie of the Conference.

Thunderbelles' import Anna DeBeer claimed the Best Foreign Player award after helping her team reach their first-ever finals appearance.

Other individual awards included Maddie Madayag of Choco Mucho and Jeanette Panaga of Creamline as the Best Middle Blockers. Flying Titans' Thang Ponce earned her fifth Best Libero title, underscoring her defensive prowess.

These achievements highlight the competitive level and emerging talent featured in this year's PVL season, setting the stage for future contests.
